Electric Columbine

Linda's voice:

Each spring the wild purple columbine reseeds itself in the cracks and crevices of the rocks around our house. No patch of ground is too small or uninviting. This one was at its peak, a mass of exotic blooms, wearing the brilliant halo of the morning sun, just to make sure it didn't escape notice. What a formidable artist nature is to create such beauty from virtually nothing.
