Summer Shower

A sudden summer
shower left these beautiful roses weighed down briefly with heavy
droplets of moisture, until gravity and the warmth of the sun removed
them.
How sobering the thought that this moment in time will never come again
- that we will never be in this exact place, seeing the same things and
feeling precisely the feelings we are now feeling, ever again. It’s time
to stop and smell the roses.
